But as much as I love a great picture, more than a decade of experience as a journalist, copywriter and editor has taught me that words are just as important as the images that accompany them–if not more so.

They have to be the RIGHT WORDS, of course, but once you’ve found them they may be worth a thousand subscribers, page views, prospective clients or direct sales.
